【大掃除】

もう直ぐお正月を迎える頃、晴れてぽかぽか陽気になったので
一年の汚れを払うためにみんなで大掃除をしました。
広縁を雑巾掛けしていると、すぐに体がぽかぽか暖かくなってきます。
障子の張り替えでベリベリと破っているのもやりたかったなぁ。

[End-of-year cleaning]
With New Year's just around the corner and the weather sunny and warm,
we all did a thorough cleaning to wash away the dirt of the year.
As I wiped the veranda with a rag, my body quickly became warm and cozy.
I also wanted to try tearing up the paper when replacing the shoji screens.
